Robotics & Hardware Engineering

Engineering physical systems and programming their logic forms the core of my technical work. I actively design, wire, and write code for custom robotics hardware from the ground up.

VEX Robotics Journey

Over the course of eight months, I dedicated myself to constantly refining and iterating upon our robot alongside three other teammates from MakerWorks Lab in Malad East—the open-source hardware lab I am currently a part of. This rigorous engineering and teamwork process culminated in securing the 12th rank and earning the Judges Award at the regional competition, which ultimately propelled us to the national stage.

Open-Source Hardware Projects

I am currently developing the Open Duck Mini V2, an open-source bipedal platform inspired by Disney's real-life BDX droid. This project has been a deep dive into advanced robotics, teaching me how to manage algorithms, execute SSH commands, calibrate systems, and leverage AI to resolve complex configuration errors. Working directly with components like Feetech serial bus servos, IMU sensors, servo adapters, and a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W has significantly expanded my knowledge of hardware-software integration.

Custom Builds

In addition to larger platforms, I have developed and programmed custom systems, such as a four-wheel-drive obstacle-avoiding car utilizing an Arduino Uno, writing custom C++ logic for multi-point scanning.

Software Development & Coding

My Coding Journey

My coding journey began as an ambitious 3rd grader with a goal to build websites and launch apps. After grasping programming fundamentals through Scratch and other block-based platforms, I transitioned to text-based languages like JavaScript in 5th grade, mastering methods, functions, and basic game logic. Upon entering 7th grade, I pivoted to Python through the rigorous CS50P audit course, which I am currently working on. Learning to manipulate API keys, for-loops, external libraries, and complex input methods has significantly expanded my problem-solving capabilities beyond my school curriculum.

Application Design & 3D Modeling

Beyond scripting, I am the conceptualizer of SpendWise, an application designed to teach kids basic financial literacy. The app will be live soon and aims to foster smart money management and spending habits among younger demographics in an engaging way. I also utilize Bambu Studio to design 3D-printed hardware parts and circuit enclosures to integrate seamlessly with my physical builds.

Model United Nations & Academic Debate

I actively participate in Model United Nations and academic debate, analyzing complex geopolitical issues ranging from international law to the economic impacts of global events on host countries.

Engaging in these intellectual forums has significantly sharpened my ability to formulate structured, data-backed arguments and deliver persuasive speeches on pressing national and global topics. While I may have not won in these debates, I constantly strive to do better by working upon my researching skills.

Competitive Swimming

As a dedicated athlete, I am committed to mastering hydrodynamics, technique, and race pacing. Competitive swimming requires peak physical conditioning combined with acute mental strategy.

  • Core Disciplines: I specialize in the 50m and 100m freestyle, as well as the 50m backstroke, consistently analyzing stroke efficiency and pull-out techniques to improve my personal records.
  • Competition Execution: I am experienced in managing demanding 5-event competition schedules, balancing immediate burst energy with calculated long-term stamina recovery.
  • Relay Dynamics: I focus heavily on the technical mechanics of team events, particularly optimizing rolling relay take-offs and transitional timing to maximize our team's momentum in the water.
